From Shadowrun: Awakened
Skills are abstract ratings for trained abilities a character posses in-game. In Shadowrun Awakened will emulate their use in SR4. They will be an abstract rating of training that, most often, combines with a base Attributes in order to provide a total rating of proficiency for a particular area. Different situations will demand different skills. As you may notice from the skills listed below, we are ignoring knowledge skills in the mid-term, but may implement them in the long-term.

Combat Skills
- Archery

- (BOD+Gynmastics)*(impact armor/2) reduces falling damage by number of hits

- (AG+Infiltration) is opposed by observer's (INT+Perception) when sneaking

- First Aid
- (LOG+First Aid) heals one box of stun or physical for each hit beyond the second, max equals skill rating, takes one combat turn per box of damage
- Hacking
- (Hacking+Exploit) for breaking in on the fly (personal access +0, security access +3, admin access +6), system gets free (Analyze+Firewall) test.
- NOTE: Extended probing and long haul hacking is NOT targeted for Arena Brawl.
- Locksmith
- (AG+Locksmith) for opening mechanical locks
- Palming
