Submitting Assets
From Shadowrun: Awakened
The following document outlines the procedure to submit Assets for Shadowrun Awakened.
As defined in the Assets page, an asset is anything that is not a game platform feature. If it isn't source code, then it's an asset.
The most common assets are Concept art, 2D artwork, Textures, 3D models, Music, Sound effects, In-game fiction, Missions/Quests, Level designs, Modelled maps, and many more. Regardless of the type of assets, all follow the same procedure.
Tasks
There are two ways of being assigned a task.
1) Asset manager will assign you a needed task. 2) You spot a task that needs doing, discuss that on forums and then run with it.
If you in any doubt of what to do, or have questions contact the Assets manager:

Submitting an asset
All assets must be submitted in the appropriate file format, depending on the type of assets. The current formats should be used:
- Graphics: This includes anything from concept art, to 2D artwork, to textures and Web graphics. Format used should be .JPEG, and in case scaling is needed (primarily for website graphics) the format should be .PNG
- 3D Models: This includes any 3D model, regardless of its type, or if it is buildings, character models, objects, maps, etc. Format used should be .blend
- Text Documents: To ensure that everybody can access it, anything that is to be read by other members should be sent in .RTF or .PDF format. This includes in-game fiction, missions, quests, character dialogues, and more.
- Sounds: If you want to send a sample, you can use .MP3 format. For anything that is to be used in-game (like music and sound effects) should be in .ogg (vorbis) format.
All assets must be properly documented. Attached to your asset file you should add a simple text file that includes the type of file submitted, and a brief description of it. Once you have your asset file and the attached text document ready, you must submit it to the Asset Manager via email.
Your asset file can be returned by the asset manager only on the grounds that it does not cover the requirement needed, or needs a little tweaking. In case your asset is returned, the asset manager will include an explanation of what needs to be fixed. Please review this explanation, revise it, and resubmit it.
Once your file has been accepted by the asset manager, it will be uploaded to our secure file server and will be displayed in the appropriate gallery (or the website itself, if you have submitted website graphics).
